PULBOROUGH RUGBY CLUB.
Captains and Coaches Report:
Matt Goring (Club Captain) and Matt Gue (Mens Head Coach)
“Coming to the hump of the season, we begin to welcome games against teams who we have already met, in a season which has been full of surprises and allowed us to rekindle our old Sussex rivalries.
The playing squad has an average age under 25 with most players coming through the clubs junior sections, which is testament to the hard work that happens on Sundays. Huge credit to Andy Bates and his coaching team in the colts who are producing players that are pushing for first team places; notable performances have come from Harry Dancaster, Sam Billingshurst and Dylan Townsend.
The core values of this team are – teamwork, loyalty, work rate, enjoyment and definitely no DHs. Buy in to this philosophy has seen player numbers continue to increase and we are consistently turning out a similar team week in week out, which is showing in our improved performances.”
